A Little More About Me
Outside the salon, I'm a wife, mom of three, and Colorado mountain lover. When I'm not behind the chair, you'll usually find me spending time with my husband Brian and our kids, whether we're skiing, exploring the mountains, cheering on our favorite teams, or simply enjoying time together at home.
I also love slowing down with a cup of coffee and a fresh loaf of sourdough in the oven. Those simple moments remind me that some of the best things in life aren't rushed—and that's the feeling I hope every guest experiences when they visit Salon Freebird.
Family has always been at the heart of everything I do, and that value carries into the culture we've created at the salon. My goal has always been to build a place where people feel welcomed, supported, and genuinely cared for from the moment they walk through the door.
Whether it's your first visit or you've been with us for years, I'm grateful you've found your way here and honored to be part of your hair journey.

When I opened Salon Freebird, I wasn't trying to create the biggest salon in Boulder. I simply wanted to create the kind of salon I would want to visit myself—a place that felt welcoming, comfortable, and genuinely focused on helping people feel their best.
After more than 20 years behind the chair, I've learned that beautiful hair is about so much more than color, extensions, or a great haircut. It's about confidence. It's about feeling cared for. It's about having a space where you can relax, trust your stylist, and leave feeling like the best version of yourself.
From the very beginning, my vision for Salon Freebird was to create a boutique salon built around healthy hair, low-tox color, genuine connection, and exceptional guest care. A place where people feel comfortable showing up exactly as they are. No pressure. No judgment. No chasing trends that don't fit your life.
